Leading the way to a sustainable future
In 2023, we held our inaugural award-winning Green Giving Day to launch the Malvern College Green Fund – a bold initiative aimed at making our campus carbon neutral by 2050. We believe this to be one of the most ambitious green campaigns pledged by a UK independent school.
The whole Malvernian community – Old Malvernians, EOGs, parents, pupils, staff and friends – came together to lay the groundwork for a greener future. The generosity shown before and during the event helped establish the Malvern College Green Fund, igniting the most significant transformation since our founding 160 years ago.
Your support for our Green Fund will protect our heritage buildings, enabling us to retrofit our traditional boarding houses and Main Building to the highest ‘eco’ standards – reducing our carbon footprint and making our learning environments sustainable for future generations of pupils.
This includes:
Achieving net-zero carbon emissions will be the most transformative project in our 160-year history. Sustainability is vital to our mission, ensuring we continue to nurture intellectually curious, resilient, and forward-thinking young people.
Together, we can protect and enhance our beautiful campus for our future generations.
