Club Highlights
The OMCGC has a rich history of competing in notable tournaments. The club takes part in the Noel Bruce (rackets), Henry Leaf (tennis), D’Abernon (lawn tennis) and Londonderry (squash) competitions.
While we continue to participate in the Noel Bruce competition, most of our rackets matches are played informally at the courts in Malvern. We host games every Wednesday evening, providing a regular opportunity for members to hone their skills and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow Old Malvernians.
In honour of Ron Hughes, Malvern College’s esteemed rackets professional until 1986, there is an annual Memorial Day at the Moreton Morrell Real Tennis Club every year. This special event attracts players of all generations, celebrating the enduring legacy of excellence in court games at Malvern.
