Formed in 2018, the OM Hare & Hounds Club (OMHHC) is one of the newest additions to the clubs. Although a running club was initially formed in the 1950s, it was disbanded in 1962. The rebirth of the Hare & Hounds Club in 2018 has revitalised this tradition, bringing together alumni who share a passion for running and the camaraderie of the Old Malvernian community.
The club is dedicated to fostering a sense of community through the sport of running. It aim’s is to reconnect alumni through regular running events and social gatherings, continuing the tradition of friendly competition and shared experiences that have been a hallmark of Malvern College’s athletic spirit.
Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just getting started, new members are always welcome. OMs are invited to participate in races, connect with fellow OMs, and be part of a growing community that values fitness and friendship.
Interested in joining us or have questions about races and activities? Please contact: James Harker (SH.81-86) | [email protected].
If anyone would like to step forward to take over the Club Secretary reins from James Harker, please get in touch too!
We look forward to welcoming you to our community of running enthusiasts.
