Building the future of learning: capital projects

With sustainability at its heart, a staged programme of work will bring our heritage buildings and pupil boarding houses into the 21st century as we aim to be a carbon neutral campus by 2050

In recent months many of our much-loved spaces have been upgraded to become state-of-the-art modern teaching spaces to inspire our future role models or updated to become welcoming shared spaces enjoyed by the whole community.

The Grub, College Reception and the Grundy have become bright, sociable spaces and the iconic Memorial Library has been reimagined as a versatile new Sixth Form Centre, preparing our pupils for life after Malvern. Modelled on university learning spaces, the new Sixth Form Centre allows pupils to further develop vital skills including collaboration, problem solving and creativity.

Taking the projects shown here as our starting point, we are now focussed on a new vision of the future at Malvern College, and we need your help. Our vision is a new, ambitious 15-year Masterplan for the campus, which will transform our Boarding Houses, the Music School, our Court Road sports ground and St Edmund’s Hall to name but a few. With sustainability at its heart, a staged programme of work will bring our heritage buildings and pupil houses into the 21st century as we aim to be a carbon neutral campus by 2050.
