Brad Jones

Many of our pupils join us from overseas and lots of Malvernians travel the world and work abroad. However, very few fly themselves there, or pilot a commercial aircraft to make the journey. Starting flying lessons at the age of 14, Brad gained both his private pilot’s licence and passed his driving test while in Sixth Form. His dream was always to be paid to fly and pursue a career in aviation. Following his commercial flight training programme, where he also gained a degree in Air Traffic Management, he landed a coveted job as First Officer for British Airways.

Often found jetting in and out of major city airports, Brad has returned to Malvern College and The Downs Malvern giving talks to, and inspiring the next generation of explorers.
