Nicholas Redfearn (4. 72-76)
Nick passed away on 19 May 2026 following a period of illness.
He attended Malvern College in the 1970s before going on to study Civil Engineering at King’s College London, graduating in 1980. He later completed an MBA at Manchester Business School in 1988.
Nick held senior positions with OTIS Plc, Clyde Blowers Plc, Butterley Engineering Ltd and FKI Logistics before acquiring Amber Industries in 2006. He went on to lead and develop the company over the following 20 years, building on its specialism in materials handling and industrial engineering.
Nick is survived by his wife, Kathryn.
