The objectives of the Old Malvernian Fly Fishing Club, formed in January 2023, are:

  • to encourage OMs to meet fellow anglers and fish new waters by invitation
  • to build up hubs in strategic fishing areas (to date Salisbury, The Peak District and The Usk at Crickhowell) 
  • to organise an annual overnight meet including partners
  • to fish rivers or, subject to numbers, reservoirs
  • to arrange an introductory day in May with The College on a lake near Malvern to promote fly-fishing with a view to leavers joining OMFFC.
