MEET THE TEAM
Alexandra Albright – Head of Development
The Society raises funds for Malvern College including major capital developments and Transformational Bursaries and Alexandra leads on these projects. A Development specialist, Alex has previously worked at the English National Opera and the University of Birmingham.
Rob Breare - Secretary
As Secretary of the Society and COO of College, Rob is the link between both organisations. His career has taken him from Procter & Gamble in the UK to working in education in Kenya and Switzerland as well as a spell as COO for a conservation project in Kenya.
Julie Caro - Events Officer
Events large and small, in Malvern or overseas, Julie organises and manages the Malvernian Society's vibrant and ever-expanding events calendar. She joined the Society from a career in international sports travel and corporate hospitality.
Louise Ciaravella – Senior Communications Officer
Louise oversees our communications including a new website to be launched later in 2023, the OM Newsletter and campaigns such as our first Giving Day in June. Louise joined the Society from a career in marketing communications in other independent schools and universities.
Abbie Elliston - Engagement Officer
Abbie enjoys tackling the challenges that come from running a busy office. After graduating, Abbie worked at the family hotel and her career in hospitality has stood her in good stead for working on the Society's events. She has strong familial connections with the College which are invaluable.
Suzy Leeke - Head of Engagement
Suzy ensures that OMs and EOGs remain connected with Malvern College - this may be in the form of reunions and visits to the College, or just keeping up to date through social media. Suzy came from a commercial and marketing career in international sports travel and national events.
Fiona Paterson - Associate Head of Development
Fiona is an experienced Development professional with extensive experience working in the charity and education sectors, including Cheltenham Ladies' College. She joined the Society after her last child left the College which gives her invaluable insight as a former parent.
Louise Townsend - Development Officer
The Malvernian Society manages a significant database of over 10,000 OMs based all over the world and it is Louise's role to ensure it remains up to date. She brings considerable experience from five years at Cheltenham Ladies’ College.
