Assisted Places

If you are an Old Malvernian, a current or former parent or a friend of the College then you will already know how a Malvern education can be transformative. Our Assisted Places scheme enables us to extend the benefit of a Malvern education further afield by offering support to deserving talented children regardless of their financial situation, ensuring that the very best pupils may come to the College. And by broadening access and diversity, everyone in the school community benefits.

Our ambition? Ten fully funded places by 2030
Please join us in achieving our ambition to fully fund at least ten talented pupils a year.

The College currently allocates about £1million a year to scholarships and bursaries with support ranging from 10% to 100% of the tuition fees, but we have some way to go to achieve our target so your help will be gratefully received.

In the words of previous beneficiaries:

Without my Assisted Place it would simply have been impossible for me to remain at Malvern College in the Sixth Form and benefit from the countless opportunities on offer. I have no doubt that my Malvern education, both academic and otherwise, was fundamental to my future business achievements. It was truly a wonderful experience, the effects of which will stay with me for life, and for which I will always be immensely grateful.

I am proud to be supporting the new Malvernian Society Assisted Places Scheme and being able to give a Malvern College pupil the same opportunities that I enjoyed. I hope you will join me in doing the same.”

Paul Bowtell (SH.1981-86), Assisted Places recipient, Senior Chapel Prefect, former Chief Financial Officer of a major UK plc.

1191-Jamescott2.JPGBeing able to attend Malvern, even for just two years, has give me opportunities I wouldn't ever have thought of before.
