Malvern College has won the Admissions, Marketing, Communications in Independent Schools (AMCIS) Communications IMPACT Award for our inaugural Green Giving Day (GGD) at an Awards ceremony held this week (13th May).
Coordinated by the Malvernian Society, the judges said of the campaign: “Malvern College hit the sweet spot…Communications for their first Green Giving Day campaign deftly positioned the school as environmentally aware and active, whilst exceeding their initial fundraising target.”
The award follows a previous award win which saw the College’s GGD taking the ‘Schools’ Fundraising Campaign of the Year’ Award at The Institute of Development Professionals in Education (IDPE) Development Awards in November 2023.
Our Green Giving Day held last year raised £134,776 to kickstart a Green Fund in support of the College’s ambition to be a carbon neutral campus by 2050. The Green Fund, launched by GGD, will help to realise the College’s green ambitions: to reduce its carbon footprint, preserve its heritage buildings, and make learning environments sustainable for future generations. We remain extremely grateful to everyone who donated and helped to make GGD a success.
Thank you AMCIS and congratulations to the other Award Winners and shortlisted schools.
