As part of our ongoing ‘Malvern at University’ events series, our latest stop was Oxford, where we welcomed Old Malvernians currently studying at Oxford University, Oxford Brookes, Reading University, and the Royal Agricultural University, along with under-25s living and working nearby.
Hosted by Sarah Angus and Richard Thurlow from Malvern College, and Suzy Leeke from the Malvernian Society, the evening was a relaxed and sociable affair. Guests enjoyed drinks, burgers, and brownies while catching up with old friends and making new connections.
It was fantastic to hear what everyone’s been up to – from business and land management degrees to Master’s programmes, gap years, and early career adventures. The group was mostly male this time around, which led to lively conversations about university football and cricket teams, and plenty of enthusiasm for joining the OM Golf Society!
Next up: Newcastle and London
We’re heading to London on Thursday 20th November for students at all London universities (and any OMs under 25 in London) and then Newcastle on Tuesday 25th November for students at Newcastle and Durham universities.
If you’re an OM under 25 or currently at university, we’d love to see you – do join us for drinks, food, and a good catch-up with OM friends.
