OM Golfing Society enjoys glorious spring meeting at St George’s Hill

The OM Golfing Society’s annual Spring Meeting was held under perfect blue skies this year, with 38 Old Malvernians gathering for a day of friendly competition at the stunning St George’s Hill course in Surrey on Wednesday 7th May.

Golfers played 18 holes in the morning followed by a 9-hole Stableford competition in the afternoon. A warm welcome was extended to Suzy Leeke, the Malvernian Society’s Head of Engagement, who joined the event (without clubs!) alongside OM Ambassador John Cox. Suzy commented, “I was struck by the number of younger OMs competing – the financial support afforded by the OMGS to encourage more younger members looks like it’s paying dividends. It was heartening to see a multi-generational club in full swing (excuse the pun).”
