On Friday 25th April, we were delighted to welcome back Old Malvernian Arianna Zeidi (EH.20–22), who returned to Malvern College to deliver an insightful and engaging talk to current pupils and members of the Law Society.
Arianna, now in her final year of studying Law at the University of Exeter, shared a wealth of knowledge and experience with the Society’s members. Her talk ranged from an overview of the British legal system to practical advice about studying law at university. She offered thoughtful guidance on how aspiring law students might prepare themselves for undergraduate life and explored a variety of potential career paths within the legal profession – highlighting areas that are not only intellectually stimulating but also full of opportunity.
The second half of the session brought theory into practice through a compelling and interactive case study. Drawing on a fictitious but complex legal scenario, Arianna had prepared materials in advance to guide pupils through the exercise. This dynamic format introduced members to key legal terminology and core principles of criminal law, helping them engage directly with the material. The session sparked lively debate and encouraged pupils to think critically, giving them a true taste of what legal study and practice can involve.
We are extremely grateful to Arianna for returning to share her insight and for inspiring the next generation of legal professionals at Malvern College.
If you would be happy to come back to the College to speak to pupils about your career or profession, please get in touch with us.
