Malvern College was once again proudly represented at the prestigious Halford Hewitt tournament, held this April in the picturesque coastal town of Deal in Kent. With blue skies and high spirits throughout the week, the team approached the competition with great enthusiasm and determination.
The opening round saw a strong performance from the OM Golfing Society (OMGS) team, who delivered an impressive 4.5–0.5 victory over City of London. However, despite a spirited effort in the second round, Malvern narrowly missed out on progressing further, falling to Merchant Taylors with a final score of 3.5–1.5.
The Malvernian Society extends its sincere thanks to all members of the OMGS who competed, as well as to the supporters who travelled to cheer on the team – your presence and encouragement were greatly appreciated.
For those interested in becoming part of the OMGS, we would be delighted to hear from you. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch and join our thriving golfing community.
