OM takes on cycling challenge to support Prostate Cancer UK

Old Malvernian Julian Harris (9.68-72) is taking part in the ‘Tour de 4‘ cycling challenge this September, organised by Sir Chris Hoy, to raise funds and awareness for Prostate Cancer UK.

Julian, who is currently living with Stage 4 prostate cancer, has committed himself to a powerful mission: to cycle in support of research and early detection efforts for a disease that, if caught early, is entirely curable.

Starting and finishing at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome in Glasgow on Sunday 7th September 2025, Tour de 4 offers four different rides, so participants can pick a route that best suits their ability.

Julian’s determination and resilience are a testament to the Malvernian spirit and we would like to encourage all members of the Malvernian community to support his inspiring initiative. Donations can be made through his GoFundMe page.

Let us rally behind Julian as he pedals forward with courage, determination, and hope.
