Alumni sought to perform in charity concert

Musical Old Malvernians and Ellerslie Old Girls are asked to get in touch to perform in a special charity fundraising concert taking place at The Downs Malvern (TDM) on the evening of Sunday 1 June. The concert will bring together alumni from Malvern College, Ellerslie School, The Downs Malvern and Hillstone in a unique musical performance to raise money for the MacMillan Renton Unit at Hereford Hospital.

The concert will feature a four-part choir, an instrumental ensemble, as well as solo and small group performances spanning a variety of musical genres. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or simply a music enthusiast, this is an extraordinary opportunity to reconnect with fellow alumni and staff while contributing to a meaningful cause.

The concert is inspired by the incredible care received by Madame Stéphanie Ingram, former teacher of French who worked at TDM for 24 years. Stéphanie was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2024 and the proceeds from the evening will support the life-saving work of Hereford Hospital, making this event both a celebration of community and a gesture of gratitude.

What is involved:

You will need to be available on Sunday 1 June, with rehearsals starting at 11:00 (choir rehearsal at 14:15). The concert will start at 19:30 and dinner will be provided beforehand.
